Anyone who passes unusual comments on any women's private body part at the public place will be liable under section 354 of IPC for assault to women with intent to outrage her modesty i.e. about her sex. And that person who does so shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which shall not less than one year but may extend to five years, and shall also be liable to fine.
Section 354 IPC – Definition
Whoever assaults or uses criminal force to any woman, intending to outrage or knowing it to be likely that he will thereby outrage her modesty, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.
